  • Air Separators: AS-L and AS

  • Thrush Co. Inc.'s Air Separators effectively removes air trapped in a system. Air is not the only contaminant that affects systems performance and component life. Thrush offers Air Separators with or without strainers. The maximum working pressure is 125 PSIG and the maximum operating temperature is 350° F. All Thrush Air Separators are designed and constructed per ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels. Thrush stocks most of the Air Separators to meet any demands. Air Separators can be ordered with grooved connections with a minimal lead-time.

  • Air Eliminators

  • Thrush Co., Inc. offers several types of air elimination products. Thrush prides itself on maintaining stock on all air elimination products to satisfy individual requirements. Thrush's Model 706 Air Vent is designed for use on any hydronic or water service system where pressure does not exceed 150 PSIG and the temperature is no greater than 240°F. Model 706 Air Vent is economical and is low maintenance. Thrush's Model 720 Air Eliminator is designed to eliminate air as fast as it can be separated. This will not open if negative pressure occurs so air cannot be drawn into the system. The Model 720 Air Eliminator is for pressures of 2 to 150 PSIG and maximum temperature of 250°F. Thrush's Model 721 Air Separator/Eliminator combines both air separation and elimination. It prevents air from entering the system in vacuum conditions. The Model 721 Air Separator/Eliminator has easy installation and one size handles all jobs. It is for pressures of 2 to 150 PSIG and maximum temperature of 250°F.

  • Air Purgers

  • Thrush's Air Purgers effectively separate air from hot water, trapping air bubbles in a collection chamber in which a Thrush Air Eliminator is connected for releasing the air into the environment. Air Purgers are designed for maximum effective air removal with minimum pressure drop and turbulence. The 2", 2 ½", and 3" AmericanTM Air Purgers are in stock and available for immediate shipment. The fabricated Air Purgers size 5" and up are expertly made and have nominal lead-times.
